Olderfleet Buildings
When Becton acquired the 19th-Century Olderfleet Buildings at 471-485 Collins Street for restoration and development, the priceless tower clock had been illegally removed. Becton advertised nationally and internationally for its return. A message was received from an anonymous group stating the clock would be returned only if the buildings were restored to mint condition.

Becton fully restored the historic building's facade, and added a modern eight storey office building. It was clad with glass, creating a complex patchwork effect that blended with the historically classified original buildings.

The clock was returned when the redevelopment was completed.
